Belmond’s seven intimate barges are among the most luxurious river experiences in Europe and offer a unique way of seeing some spectacularly picturesque countryside. Operating from April to October, Belmond’s vessels sail on a variety of routes through Champagne, Burgundy and Provence. Sleeping from four to twelve guests only, the seven ‘péniche-hôtels’ can be chartered by families or groups (for sole use), or booked on a cabin by cabin basis. Cruising in tandem is also possible for larger groups wishing to travel together.
