Corsica & Sardinia
Only 12 km separates these two beautiful islands which makes combining Corsica and Sardinia an ideal charter.
Corsica
Corsica offers the perfect blend of French and Italian charm with hidden coves and sandy white beaches. The beautiful west coast offers rugged mountains and orangey-pink cliffs which drop in to the sea. On the southwest coast, the Gulf of Valinco boasts some of Corsica’s prettiest beaches: Portigliolo, Palombaggia, Santa Giulia and Rondinara all forming perfect crescent-shaped stretches of sand. Up in the north, the shore is also studded with magnificent beaches, some of which are so deserted they are only accessible by yacht or mule.
Anchor in the deep bays alongside the charming fishing villages that line the idyllic coastline and explore local towns: Bonifacio has a remarkable setting atop dazzling white cliffs – a beautiful view to be seen from the water; Ajaccio (birthplace of Napoléon) with its charming cobbled streets and palm-tree lined waterfront or Porto Vecchio, a lively resort with a Marina. Traditional dishes include wild boar (Sanglier) or freshly caught red mullet, washed down with a glass or two of Corsican wine.
Sardinia
Full of hidden bays with deep, white sandy beaches which are ideal if you want to relax in peace. The Costa Smerelda coastline offers some of the best diving in the world with stunning caves, wrecks and corals to choose from and the exclusive resort of Porto Cervo offers designer boutiques, chic restaurants and sophisticated nightlife.
Explore the 60 islands and islets of the Maddalena archipelago, perfect for snorkelling. Take in the view of the beautiful pink beach on the Isola Di Budelli and explore the stunning clear waters of the small bays of Isola di Spargi. For those who wish to venture inland, rural Sardinia is home to a rich mixture of architecture and culture with citrus groves, medieval villages and medieval churches dotting the landscape.
